Flower Pot Pendant Tutorial

I was at the craft store a few weeks ago and stumbled upon these teenie tiny terracotta flower pots. They are approximately an inch tall. I decided to buy them but I didn’t know quite what I was going to make with them- until now! These tiny pots are perfect for making tiny flower pot pendants.

Supplies (All available at the craft store)

Mini flower pot
Modeling clay like FIMO
Eye pin for jewelry making
Jump ring
Metal earring stud bases
Craft moss
Tiny plastic flowers (from the scrap booking section at the craft store, these ones were technically 3D stickers)
Crazy glue
Necklace chain

Step 1

Take you modeling clay and press into the center of the pot ( I recommend using green clay not white so that it will blend in with the moss). Then stick inΒ  the earring bases which will hold the flowers and the eye pin ( you may have to trim the eye pin with wire cutters)

Step 2

Place the pot in the oven to harden the clay. Follow the instructions on the packaging or, if it is air dry clay, let it sit overnight or until hard. You may have to glue the clay into the pot otherwise once it is dry it may not stay in on it’s own.

Step 3

Glue moss to the clay and glue the flowers to the earring bases. Attach a jump ring to the eye pin. Thread a jewelry chain through the jump ring.

Tiny and adorable!
